POCKET PRAYER BOOK
Over the next 9-12 months, TFC is collecting and compiling prayers relevant to Orthodox Christian military personnel serving in all six sister services. We don't just want to print a waterproof prayer book that already exists. We want to create one compiled for military personnel and the unique challenges and circumstances they face in fighting wars and serving our nation. God-willing, we plan to present our compilation to a group of trusted Orthodox chaplains, who have deployed in combat and served their nation, for their inputs. We will also present our final compilation to an Orthodox bishop for his blessing.
If you are currently serving in the military, or if you are a veteran, and if you have any prayers you'd like to include, please feel free to reach out to us with your ideas. Email your recommendations to TFC at braszkoalex@gmail.com, subject heading "Prayer Book Recommendations" and we will consider them for inclusion in the Orthodox Christian Service Members Pocket Prayer Book.
Facilitating opportunities for Orthodox Christian worship
St Elizabeth (the New Martyr) & All Military Saints Chapel
We are building an Orthodox Christian chapel dedicated to St. Elizabeth the New Martyr and All Military Saints. The chapel will serve as a place of worship for traveling Orthodox Christian service members, a space for Orthodox chaplains to minister, and will host regular prayer services throughout the year.
So far, over 550 supporters have donated more than $110,000 through our GiveSendGo campaign.
